Gambian football expert Baboucarr Fallaboweh stated that Brighton & Hove Albion winger Yankuba Minteh is keen to secure a permanent transfer to Liverpool. Minteh reportedly hoped for a move during the previous summer transfer window after drawing interest from the Merseyside club.
The 22-year-old Gambia international joined Brighton permanently in 2024 from Newcastle United following a loan spell at Feyenoord. He registered seven goals in his debut campaign for Brighton and added three goals and four assists during the 2025/26 season.
