Everton reach decision on selling Jarrad Branthwaite to Liverpool

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite on a permanent transfer as a long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk. According to former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown, Liverpool have been scouting the England international closely to prepare for Van Dijk's eventual departure.

However, Everton reportedly have no intention of selling Branthwaite to Liverpool or any other club. Brown noted that completing a transfer between the local Merseyside rivals would be difficult despite Liverpool's active interest.
