Everton manager David Moyes has admitted that he wants to be working with more players

Everton manager David Moyes spoke with former Blues boss Sam Allardyce about the club's transfer situation during the Legends of Football awards in London. Speaking on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, Allardyce revealed that Moyes would like more players added to his squad, echoing the manager's previous comments about working with fewer outfield options than his preferred target of 21.
Everton were left with just 18 outfield players following the close of the transfer window, which included the loan departure of Adam Aznou and a collapsed move for Monaco striker Folarin Balogun. Despite the limited squad depth, Everton remain unbeaten across their opening seven matches in all competitions this season.
