This could change things for Liverpool.
Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has reportedly identified Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu as a key transfer target to solve the club's right-back depth issues. According to reports cited from TuttoMercatoWeb, the versatile French defender is on the Reds' shortlist alongside Roma full-back Wesley as the club seeks permanent defensive reinforcements.
Juventus previously valued Kalulu at around €50 million (£42.25 million), though financial pressure could potentially lead to a lower fee. Anfield Watch writer Zak Anderton argues that Kalulu's age and versatility make him a more cost-effective option than activating Ronald Araujo's steep £47 million purchase option.
