Manchester United have been handed definitive Premier League refereeing verdicts from a number of controversial decisions…

A Premier League Key Match Incidents Panel unanimously ruled that all five contentious refereeing decisions made during Manchester United's 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth were correct. The panel, composed of five representatives, supported referee Jarred Gillett's choices by 5-0 votes on every reviewed call. These incidents included unawarded penalty appeals for fouls on Amad and Bryan Mbeumo, as well as allowing Rayan's goal following a ruling that James Hill did not interfere from an offside position.
Two other supported rulings involved Bournemouth forward Evanilson, confirming his disallowed goal for offside was accurate and that he did not commit a handball offence. Manchester United subsequently secured a dramatic 3-2 Champions League comeback against AS Roma, with Bruno Fernandes and Matheus Cunha scoring before Cunha received a red card.
