Rangers are reportedly considering a loan move for Arsenal wonderkid Max Dowman, with the Scottish side weighing up whether to send him out temporarily

Rangers are reportedly planning an approach to sign Arsenal wonderkid Max Dowman on a temporary loan deal in January. According to a report by Football Insider, the Scottish club holds a strong interest in the 16-year-old winger alongside rivals Celtic. Dowman is set to sign a professional contract when he turns 17 on December 31, which would allow a loan exit immediately before the winter transfer window opens.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta remains cautious about Dowman's development and will only sanction a loan if given firm guarantees of regular playing time at Ibrox. Although the teenager is a member of Arsenal's first-team squad and holds records as the club's youngest starter and the Premier League's youngest goalscorer, regular minutes remain limited, prompting interest in a temporary move.
