Rangers have been told not to panic over Connor Barron's Middlesbrough loan nightmare as Boro boss Kim Hellberg insists the "exceptional" midfielder's chance WILL come.
Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg has urged Rangers not to panic over Connor Barron's lack of playing time during his season-long loan. Despite not playing a single competitive minute since his deadline-day move to the Championship side, Hellberg praised the 23-year-old midfielder as exceptional and insisted his opportunity will come.
The manager's comments follow remarks from former Rangers manager Barry Ferguson, who expressed concern over Barron's absence and suggested recalling him. Hellberg explained that intense squad competition is the primary issue, noting Barron recently scored the winning goal in a friendly against Newcastle.
