Roma head coach Gian Piero Gasperini addressed Massimiliano Allegri's post-match outburst following Roma's 3-3 draw against Napoli and provided team injury updates ahead of hosting Cagliari. Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Gasperini described the reported comments from Allegri as unfortunate. He confirmed that forward Paulo Dybala might return to the squad and feature on the bench for Tuesday's Serie A fixture.
Gasperini also discussed squad fitness, stating that goalkeeper Mile Svilar could return later in the week, while Manu Kone is unlikely to return before the upcoming break. Napoli manager Allegri received a two-match ban following his fiery reaction and subsequent red card after Leonardo Balerdi's late equalizing goal.
