Agent Giuseppe Riso revealed that Davide Frattesi had to leave Inter Milan for Lazio because he was unhappy with his limited playing time. Speaking on the Colpi da Maestro podcast, Riso explained that the midfielder felt sad and lacked energy after being used primarily as a substitute under Simone Inzaghi and Cristian Chivu, making a summer transfer inevitable.
Frattesi prioritized a return to his boyhood club despite having other transfer options, influenced heavily by Lazio manager Gennaro Gattuso and president Claudio Lotito. The 27-year-old midfielder has since become a regular starter for Lazio, scoring in his first three Serie A appearances against Bologna, Genoa, and Udinese.
