Juventus, Inter and Premier League clubs already approached Romano

Juventus, Inter, and several unnamed Premier League clubs have reportedly made preliminary approaches for Cagliari midfielder Alessandro Romano. The 20-year-old Italy international, who joined Cagliari from Roma on a loan deal with an obligation to buy, has quickly emerged as a top target for major European sides following an impressive start to the season.

According to Tuttosport, Inter views Romano as a potential successor to Hakan Calhanoglu, while Juventus director Frederic Massara maintains positive relations with both Cagliari and the player's representatives. Romano recently earned his first two senior caps for Italy against Belgium and Turkiye after previously representing Switzerland at the under-21 level.
