Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly unconvinced by sporting director Giovanni Manna and is considering Igli Tare as a potential replacement. Doubts have arisen following Napoli's difficult start to the campaign, which leaves them ninth in Serie A. The scrutiny comes despite a recent 4-3 Champions League victory against Bodø/Glimt.
Manna oversaw an expensive squad rebuild where an attack costing approximately €200m has yielded only five goals. Tare previously worked with Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri at Milan before departing in May, having spent the prior 15 years as sporting director for Lazio.
