Ashleigh Gardner was cleared of a fractured thumb, but there was little other positive news for NSW as the Fire dominated in Sydney

Georgia Redmayne scored 139 runs to lead the Queensland Fire to an emphatic 111-run bonus-point victory over New South Wales at Cricket Central. Queensland posted 4-285 before bowling out the Breakers for 174 in 38.5 overs, successfully rebounding from a loss two days earlier.
Redmayne's century was supported by Jess Jonassen's 66, while NSW suffered early blows with Lily Bassingthwaighte taking two quick wickets. Meanwhile, NSW allrounder Ashleigh Gardner suffered an injury scare after taking a blow to her right thumb, but X-rays cleared her of a fracture.
