Max Verstappen was put under investigation by FIA stewards at the Singapore Grand Prix following an incident with Lewis Hamilton.

FIA stewards placed Max Verstappen under investigation following an incident with Lewis Hamilton during sprint qualifying at the Singapore Grand Prix on Friday. The Red Bull driver allegedly breached yellow flag regulations by overtaking Hamilton after Sergio Perez damaged his front wing and left debris on the Marina Bay track. Both Verstappen and Hamilton were summoned to meet with the stewards after the session to discuss the alleged infraction.
Hamilton reported over Ferrari team radio that Verstappen overtook him under yellow flags, while Verstappen stated he believed the pass occurred beforehand but relinquished the position as a precaution. Having secured sprint pole ahead of Charles Leclerc, Verstappen could face a five-place grid penalty for the sprint race if found guilty of the breach.
