Kimi Antonelli has admitted that the Mercedes upgrades have been 'very unpredictable' at the Singapore GP

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli admitted that his upgraded car felt "very unpredictable" and difficult to drive during the opening day of the Singapore Grand Prix weekend. While teammate George Russell qualified second for Saturday's sprint race using an older package, Antonelli qualified seventh while running the team's newly introduced aerodynamic updates.
Antonelli noted that he struggled starting from the opening practice session and questioned where he could bridge a seven-tenths deficit. Despite the sprint qualifying gap, Russell faces a grid penalty for Sunday's main race after taking a new power unit.
