Marc Marquez kept his nerve as he cruised to victory in the MotoGP Japanese Grand Prix ahead of his Aprilia title rivals.

Marc Marquez claimed victory in the MotoGP Japanese Grand Prix, finishing 1.363 seconds ahead of Jorge Martin. Starting behind pole-sitter Martin, Marquez overtook him at Turn 11 around mid-race distance to secure his sixth win of the 2026 season. The triumph completed a weekend double for Marquez following his earlier sprint race victory.
Martin crossed the line in second place to retain the championship lead, though Marquez narrowed the gap to two points. Marco Bezzecchi completed the podium in third after holding off a late charge from fourth-placed Enea Bastianini.
