The future of Taylor Barnard was most certainly one of Formula E's biggest off-season anomalies. That speculation is now over.

Taylor Barnard has officially signed with Fortescue Zero Racing, ending off-season speculation regarding his future in Formula E. The British driver has been announced as one of two drivers for the new Kidlington-based squad, which is taking over from Penske and utilizing Jaguar powertrains. Barnard expressed excitement about building the project from the ground up, with Team Principal Jim Wright praising his speed, discipline, and potential.
The announcement follows a challenging campaign for Barnard with DS Penske that concluded with his maiden Formula E victory in London. Fortescue, previously the series' Pit Boost provider, stepped in after Penske faced difficulties finding a partner following the French manufacturer's exit. Barnard originally debuted in Season 10 replacing Sam Bird before securing a full-time seat.
