Alistair Docherty joined GOLF's Subpar podcast to discuss his close calls and what it's like to finally have earned his PGA Tour card.

Twenty PGA Tour cards are set to be awarded on Sunday at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in Virginia. Unlike players fighting for the remaining seven spots, 32-year-old Alistair Docherty enters the season finale having already secured his card last month after years of close calls.
Docherty earned his spot following a strong 2026 campaign that included a victory at the Argentina Open and two runner-up finishes. After previously missing PGA Tour promotion by narrow margins at both the Tour Championship and Q-School, Docherty noted on the Subpar podcast that locking up his card provided immense relief.
