Former world No 1 Jon Rahm is leaving LIV Golf after rejecting terms proposed for the breakaway series' planned relaunch. Rahm's attorney, John Beck, told a bankruptcy court hearing that the terms of "LIV 2.0" were unacceptable to the two-time major champion, with both sides working to finalize a separation agreement by October 15.
LIV Golf filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund withdrew financial backing. Rahm is reportedly owed up to $150m from his original contract and faces a mandatory one-year suspension before he can potentially rejoin the PGA Tour.
