A number of players have pulled out of a pair of upcoming golf events boasting a staggering prize, including big hitters like Shane Lowry and Justin Rose…

Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, and eight other eligible players have withdrawn from the upcoming DP World Tour playoffs in the United Arab Emirates. The two-event series begins with the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship on November 5, followed by the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. Other notable withdrawals include Ryan Fox, Matt Fitzpatrick, Alex Fitzpatrick, Min Woo Lee, Ludvig Aberg, Bob MacIntyre, Si Woo Kim, and Ryan Gerard.
While some players cited scheduling or personal reasons, several golfers voiced security concerns stemming from recent regional geopolitical conflicts. Matt Fitzpatrick previously noted hesitation over safety and becoming a new father, whereas Justin Rose opted for a restful end to the season. Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Patrick Reed, and Adam Scott confirmed they will participate.
