In his first full campaign following Tommy John surgery, Bradish signed a five-year contract extension worth $18 million annually. However, he finished with a 7-14 record and a 4.12 ERA across 29 starts before a sports hernia cut his season short.
Brown highlights that while Bradish showed strong form with a 3.18 ERA over 17 starts from May to mid-August, reduced strikeout rates and defensive issues undermined his consistency. With Trevor Rogers expected to leave in free agency, Brown notes that manager Craig Albernaz and general manager Mike Elias will depend heavily on Bradish to bounce back in 2027.
