Having struggled since returning from the injured list, Roman Anthony gave all Red Sox fans a reason to believe in the offense again during Friday's doubleheader.

Boston Red Sox left fielder Roman Anthony delivered a standout performance during a Friday doubleheader sweep against the Chicago Cubs at Fenway Park. Having already secured the second Wild Card spot ahead of a postseason series against the New York Yankees, the Red Sox held Chicago to three runs over two games.
Anthony recorded four hits in six at-bats alongside two walks, three extra-base hits, and three runs across both contests. The breakout came as Mickey Gasper was potentially lost for the season, following a period where Anthony posted a 99 wRC+ after returning from an injury in late August.
