Six White Sox players, including catcher Edgar Quero and outfielder Junior Perez, will participate in winter ball as they continue their season.

The Chicago White Sox have officially announced that six players will extend their 2026 campaigns by participating in international winter leagues. Catcher Edgar Quero, pitcher Juan Carela, and outfielder Junior Perez are slated to play in the Dominican Winter League, with Quero reporting on November 5. These assignments offer crucial offseason developmental reps following the conclusion of the regular season.
Pitcher Riley Gowens will head to Puerto Rico starting in early November, while pitcher Adisyn Coffey and outfielder Samuel Zavala are set to play in the Venezuelan Winter League. Each player looks to rebound or refine their skillset during winter competition ahead of the 2027 season.
