Former Cleveland outfielder Manny Ramirez is seeking an MLB hitting coach job, according to reporter Jon Heyman and agent Hector Zepeda. The 12-time All-Star is reportedly determined to return to professional baseball and is willing to begin coaching in the minor leagues.
Ramirez previously worked as a Triple-A hitting instructor for the Chicago Cubs from 2014 to 2016 and as a player-coach in Australia. Despite amassing 555 career home runs, his post-playing career and Hall of Fame prospects were significantly hindered by multiple PED suspensions.
