SF Giants second baseman Luis Arraez was a great signing for San Francisco and a recent contract projection shows they got him for a steal.

Around the Foghorn argues that the San Francisco Giants signed Luis Arraez on a bargain contract after Keith Law projected a lucrative free-agent deal. Following a strong 2026 campaign after signing a one-year, $12 million contract with the Giants, Arraez is now projected by Law to secure a four-year deal worth between $100 million and $120 million.
Other analysts project lower figures, with MLB Trade Rumors predicting three years at $48 million and Jim Bowden predicting three years at $60 million. Writer Nick San Miguel doubts the Giants will reunite with Arraez at that price point, having already traded him to the Philadelphia Phillies for pitcher Ramon Marquez.
