The Yankees not only had the top ERA this season (3.23), but believe it or not, they are tops this postseason (1.88).

The New York Yankees have brought back pitching coach Matt Blake on a three-year deal, a decision writer Jon Heyman argues is the right call for the franchise. The team posted Major League Baseball's best regular-season ERA at 3.23 and maintained the top mark in the postseason at 1.88.
Heyman also reports that general manager Brian Cashman's new contract is not yet signed but will be finalized. Defending Cashman's record, Heyman points out that the general manager has reached the postseason 24 times across his 29 seasons with the organization.
