Arman Tsarukyan says he’s been assured of a title fight his next time out. Last year, Tsarukyan was supposed to challenge Islam Makhachev for the lightweight title at UFC 311, but he was pulled from the event just the day…

Arman Tsarukyan stated he has been assured his next fight will be for the UFC lightweight title. Speaking ahead of his match against Dillon Danis at RAF 14, Tsarukyan revealed that promotion officials informed him the championship bout is targeted for the beginning of next year.
The confirmation comes despite potential matchmaking complications surrounding lightweight champion Justin Gaethje, who is considering retirement amid rumors of a rematch against Ilia Topuria. Tsarukyan, who is on a six-fight UFC winning streak following a knockout victory over Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 331, dismissed moving to featherweight and expressed his intent to remain at 155 pounds to defend the belt frequently.
