The Cavaliers acquired Peyton Watson because they believe he can give them something they were missing. A few days into training camp, coach Kenny Atkinson is already noticing it.
Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson has praised new acquisition Peyton Watson for his high energy and activity during training camp in Spain. Atkinson highlighted Watson's two-way presence, noting that the forward consistently impacts possessions on both offense and defense early in the preseason.
Watson was acquired from the Denver Nuggets during the summer to supply wing depth, size, and athleticism. While Atkinson noted that Watson is still learning Cleveland's system, the Cavaliers are optimistic about his progress.
