Reed Sheppard faces an injury setback after a rough Rockets opener despite Ime Udoka's strong show of confidence.

Houston Rockets guard Reed Sheppard is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the San Antonio Spurs due to a left knee contusion and bone bruise. The injury designation comes shortly after Sheppard scored three points on 1-for-6 shooting from 3-point range during Houston's 128-110 season-opening victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
Despite the difficult shooting performance, Rockets head coach Ime Udoka defended the young guard, encouraging him to stay aggressive and noting the defensive attention he commands. In addition to Sheppard's injury status, Houston center Steven Adams is also listed as questionable with right calf tightness.
