Christian Koloko Signs With Crvena Zvezda

Free agent center Christian Koloko has officially signed with Serbian club Crvena Zvezda, marking the first European stop of his professional career. The EuroLeague team announced the move on Sunday morning, noting that the agreement remains contingent on Koloko passing a physical. The Cameroonian big man chose Crvena Zvezda after drawing interest from multiple EuroLeague clubs following his release from the New Orleans Pelicans on October 9.

Selected 33rd overall in the 2022 draft by Toronto, the 26-year-old holds 122 regular-season NBA appearances across stints with the Raptors, Lakers, Grizzlies, and Hawks. After missing the entire 2023-24 season due to a blood clot issue, Koloko returned to play 27 total NBA games last season. Because he has accrued four years of NBA service, he is no longer eligible to sign a two-way contract.
