The New Orleans Pelicans have waived guard Kobe Bufkin and forward Jalon Moore. The roster moves successfully trim the team down to the NBA's regular season roster limit ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Bufkin, a 2023 first-round draft pick, joined New Orleans on a training camp contract in July after previous stints with Atlanta and the Lakers. Moore had signed an Exhibit 10 deal, and both players could now potentially join the Pelicans' G League affiliate, the Laketown Squadron.
