Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor denied allegations that he liked a social media comment criticizing starting quarterback Jordan Love. The rumor began after MLFootball claimed on X that an account belonging to Taylor liked a critical fan comment on TikTok following Green Bay's 35-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Taylor responded via an Instagram Story on September 29, clarifying that he does not have a TikTok account.
The rumors followed significant fan and media scrutiny of Love after Green Bay struggled offensively in the Week 3 defeat. Taylor, who joined the Packers on a one-year, $2.5 million contract to serve as an experienced backup and mentor, had previously emphasized his supportive relationship with Love during the offseason. Love also publicly acknowledged his own mistakes and areas for improvement ahead of their Week 4 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
