Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur indicated the team must adjust its offensive scheme away from longer-developing plays. Through three weeks, Green Bay ranks 30th in offensive success rate, dead last in rush EPA, and holds the league's worst pass block win rate, severely limiting quarterback Jordan Love's ability to pursue deep downfield passes.
LaFleur noted the offense needs to do a better job mixing up play calls rather than relying heavily on explosive chunk plays. A to Z Sports suggests shifting toward a timing-based passing game would mitigate pass protection struggles and avoid third-and-long situations.
