Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson is expected to miss multiple weeks because of a high ankle sprain, sources told ESPN.

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson is expected to miss multiple weeks due to a high ankle sprain, according to league sources. Henderson suffered the injury during the second quarter of New England's victory over the Las Vegas Raiders when he was tackled along the sideline. The running back will not require surgery, and the team is hopeful he can return relatively soon.
Following Henderson's exit, Corey Kiner served as the primary backup to starting running back Rhamondre Stevenson. To bolster depth ahead of their game against the New York Jets, the Patriots are likely to elevate Lan Larison from the practice squad.
