Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm didn't mince words about new teammate JJ Peterka.

Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm praised new teammate JJ Peterka's exceptional speed and finishing ability following a 4-3 overtime victory over the Winnipeg Jets. Lindholm noted that Peterka quickly capitalizes on breakaway chances and expressed relief at having the forward on his team rather than facing him as an opponent.
Peterka joined Boston in an offseason trade before the 2026 Entry Draft that sent two first-round picks to his previous club. Playing on the top line alongside David Pastrnak and Elias Lindholm, Peterka has scored two goals in his first two games with the Bruins, including a goal in the season-opening 3-0 win against the New York Rangers.
