Jaden Schwartz is new to playing for the Avalanche but Colorado and the team are not new to him.

Veteran forward Jaden Schwartz has joined the Colorado Avalanche, expressing strong excitement about becoming part of the roster. The 34-year-old noted that Colorado was at the top of his list due to the team's depth, leadership, and organization. Schwartz already holds connections across the franchise, including familiarity with assistant coach Dave Hakstol from their shared time with the Seattle Kraken.
Schwartz also brings prior ties to the state, having played collegiate hockey at Colorado College between 2010 and 2012. He stated he is focused on contributing to team success over individual statistical targets as the squad prepares for the upcoming season.
