Parker Kelly has tried to put last year’s 21-goal season out of his mind. He doesn’t want to put too much…

Colorado Avalanche forward Parker Kelly stated after Wednesday's practice that he is trying to avoid putting pressure on himself to repeat his recent 21-goal campaign. While acknowledging that offensive output is not his primary responsibility, Kelly expressed confidence in his ability to match the total while prioritizing his defensive and penalty-killing duties.
Kelly centered Colorado's fourth line alongside Logan O'Connor and Zachary L'Heureux during recent practices as head coach Jared Bednar evaluates lineup options. Additionally, the Avalanche adjusted their top power-play unit, testing Nic Roy in the bumper spot alongside Gabe Landeskog, Martin Necas, Nathan MacKinnon, and Cale Makar.
