Report: New Details Emerge on Avalanche’s Winter Classic, Hometown Remix Jerseys

The Colorado Avalanche are set to introduce two new jerseys during the 2026-27 season, according to a report from specialty channel Icethetics. Both designs will reportedly feature predominantly white color schemes. One uniform will be worn for the 2027 Winter Classic matchup against the Utah Mammoth at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, while the second will be released as part of the NHL's leaguewide Hometown Remix jersey initiative.

The Winter Classic design is expected to utilize an off-white base with burgundy accents, paired with a matte burgundy helmet, pants, and gloves. Meanwhile, the Hometown Remix sweater will reportedly showcase a primarily white look accented by Avs blue, navy blue, and silver. Official unveiling dates for both jerseys have not yet been announced.
