The veteran winger brings 20 seasons of experience to Dallas, providing reliable depth and veteran leadership as the Stars navigate a wave of injuries across their forward group.

The Dallas Stars have signed veteran winger David Perron to a one-year, $850,000 pro-rated deal to provide depth amid several forward injuries. The 38-year-old is expected to slot into the team's bottom-six forward group. While Perron will not debut on Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks, he is projected to make his first appearance next Tuesday when Dallas hosts the Boston Bruins.
Perron brings 20 seasons of NHL experience to help bolster a lineup currently missing Matt Duchene, Oskar Back, and Wyatt Johnston. The report anticipates Perron will likely feature on the third line alongside Justin Hryckowian and Arttu Hyry, or alternatively on the fourth line with center Radek Faksa.
