Senators Get Three Pieces of Good News Ahead of Thursday’s Home Opener

The Ottawa Senators received encouraging injury updates ahead of Thursday's home opener against the Philadelphia Flyers. Head coach Travis Green confirmed goaltender Linus Ullmark is ready to start after missing Tuesday's game. Additionally, Artem Zub and Andre Burakovsky progressed by shedding their non-contact jerseys in practice, though neither will play on Thursday.

Defenseman Jake Sanderson remains sidelined with a lower-body issue and is currently skating on his own. Lineup adjustments also place William Eklund alongside Tim Stützle and Drake Batherson. Prior to the game against the winless Flyers, the Senators will honor the late Ray Emery.
