A sigh of relief in the nation’s capital. Ottawa Senators head coach Travis Green told the media that goaltender Linus Ullmark will return to the net Thursday night, when the team hosts the Philadelphia Flyers.
Ottawa Senators head coach Travis Green announced that goaltender Linus Ullmark will start on Thursday against the Philadelphia Flyers. Ullmark missed only one game after suffering an undisclosed injury during Monday's contest against the Boston Bruins, in which he left following a collision with forward William Eklund.
The 33-year-old netminder holds a 2-0-0 record this season, recording a 1.20 goals-against average and a .949 save percentage. Ullmark is currently in his third campaign with Ottawa, playing on a four-year contract extension that carries an $8.25 million cap hit through the 2028-29 season.
