The Philadelphia Flyers made a bold move this offseason to add talent, but even in failure that hasn't stop them from adding.

The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Danny Briere remain active in their search to add a high-impact player to their roster, according to Dave Pagnotta of The Fourth Period on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio. Pagnotta reported that the Flyers are open to pursuing a significant addition via trade or aggressive player acquisition, having previously tendered an offer sheet to Anaheim Ducks forward Leo Carlsson.
Philadelphia reportedly possesses the cap space to pursue top talent and views itself as a playoff-caliber roster this season. The team's outlook is bolstered by the addition of goaltender Joseph Woll, the continued emergence of Matvei Michkov, and the contribution of recent first-round selection Porter Martone.
