The St. Louis Blues are shifting Jonatan Berggren to the second line. Discover why pairing him with McTavish and McMichael gives him the ultimate platform to thrive. (

The St. Louis Blues are projected to move forward Jonatan Berggren to the second line ahead of their matchup against the San Jose Sharks. The 26-year-old winger experienced heavy defensive-zone usage through the first three games of the season, but the coaching staff is shifting him into an offensive role to help generate secondary scoring.
Berggren is expected to skate alongside Mason McTavish and Connor McMichael, who have combined for 28 shot attempts early in the campaign. Writer Michael Meyer argues this trio will allow Berggren to serve as a primary distributor and capitalize on favorable offensive opportunities against San Jose.
