Dylan Larkin made the best of an awkward situation in his season debut. He'll try once again to win over the home fans when the Detroit Red Wings host the Seattle Kraken on Friday night.
The Detroit Red Wings will wrap up a four-game homestand on Friday night when they host the Seattle Kraken. Dylan Larkin, who requested an offseason trade but remains with Detroit, recorded a goal and an assist in his season debut on Tuesday to help the Red Wings secure a 5-3 victory over the Ottawa Senators. Todd McLellan's team looks to carry that momentum forward after dropping their first two games of the season.
The Kraken visit Detroit with a 2-2-0 record following a 6-2 defeat against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday. Seattle coach Lane Lambert commended his squad's late fight despite falling behind early. Seattle will compete without defenseman Ryan Lindgren, who was placed on injured reserve on Thursday with an upper-body injury that will sideline him for four to six weeks.
