Major question mark for Lightning could get first answer in game vs Wild

Dennis Hildeby could make his first start of the season in net for the Tampa Bay Lightning against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. Hildeby was reportedly the first goaltender off the ice at Thursday's practice, indicating he may take over starting duties from Andrei Vasilevskiy for the matchup.

Harrison Smajovits of Bolts by the Bay notes that Tampa Bay acquired Hildeby to improve their backup goaltending following Jonas Johansson's inconsistent tenure. Hildeby registered a .914 save percentage across 25 games for the Toronto Maple Leafs last season, which the writer argues could allow Tampa Bay to rest Vasilevskiy more regularly.
