Mammoth’s Maveric Lamoureux out 4-6 months after shoulder surgery

Utah Mammoth defense prospect Maveric Lamoureux is expected to miss four to six months after undergoing shoulder surgery on Monday. Mammoth general manager Bill Armstrong confirmed the procedure followed a shoulder dislocation suffered by Lamoureux during the team's 2026 training camp.

The 22-year-old defenseman was competing for a regular roster spot ahead of the 2026-27 season and has been placed on injured reserve. Selected 29th overall in the 2022 NHL Draft, Lamoureux has recorded four points across 20 career NHL appearances for the franchise.
