Strolls through the woods with canine companions were an elixir for Boeser to combat an unimaginable 2025-26 season and shore up hope for this year's roster rebuild. 'I'm in a great place.'

Vancouver Canucks winger Brock Boeser shared how his pet dogs provided essential companionship and mental relief during a difficult 2025-26 NHL campaign. The Canucks struggled heavily throughout the season, suffering an 11-game losing streak, recording a 9-27-5 home record, and trading away captain Quinn Hughes as part of an impending team overhaul.
Boeser posted 22 goals and reached 482 career points to surpass Pavel Bure for eighth in franchise history, despite finishing with a league-worst minus-48 rating. Vancouver has since entered a roster rebuild under a new management group and coaching staff, adding veteran players Luke Schenn, Brendan Gallagher, and Jamie Oleksiak.
