Jack Willis addresses Test future as eligibility for England rival nears

Toulouse flanker Jack Willis has stated that returning to play international rugby for England remains an ambition, despite currently being ineligible under the RFU's overseas selection policy. His comments came after he won the Top 14 Player of the Year award for the second consecutive season, matching teammate Antoine Dupont. Willis previously helped Toulouse defeat Montpellier in June's Top 14 final.

Willis is nearing eligibility to represent Ireland through heritage and will also qualify to apply for French citizenship next year after five years of residency. However, he indicated that returning to an English club is not currently in his plans, meaning any international return would rely on changes to overseas selection rules.
