Hunter Paisami will appeal his four-match suspension for a high tackle against South Africa on Sunday.
Wallabies centre Hunter Paisami is set to appeal a four-match suspension received for a high tackle during Australia's four-point victory against South Africa. The SANZAAR Disciplinary Committee hearing takes place on Wednesday night ahead of the Bledisloe Cup clash against New Zealand at Eden Park on October 10. If Paisami's appeal fails, Jock Campbell will replace him in head coach Les Kiss's squad.
Australia is dealing with additional midfield uncertainty as Len Ikitau battles an ankle issue, though scans ruled out major damage. Meanwhile, overseas-based players Tom Hooper and Taniela Tupou are unavailable due to regulation windows, leading to a recall for Massimo de Lutiis. New Zealand also faces an injury crisis, with Codie Taylor named captain in place of the injured Ardie Savea.
