Juventus have officially announced that Argentina international Nico Gonzalez has signed a contract extension keeping him with the club until June 30, 2030. The 28-year-old forward has solidified his place under manager Luciano Spalletti early in the 2026-27 campaign, starting in the club's last three Serie A fixtures and scoring two goals in five appearances across all competitions.
Gonzalez spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Atletico Madrid, but returned to Turin after falling short of appearances required to activate a €32 million permanent purchase obligation. Following summer transfer talks that failed to reach an agreement and subsequent injuries to key attackers including Kenan Yildiz, Gonzalez earned an extended role and a long-term commitment from the Bianconeri.
