Milan dominated for an hour and then switched off, almost fumbling the 3-0 lead as Atalanta mounted a fightback, but scraping the 3-2 victory with a decisive Adrien Rabiot.

AC Milan secured a narrow 3-2 Serie A victory over Atalanta at San Siro after surviving a late comeback. Adrien Rabiot inspired the Rossoneri by scoring their second goal and assisting Mario Gila for the third, following Goncalo Ramos' opening penalty. Despite Ramos missing a second spot-kick, Milan held a commanding 3-0 lead before Atalanta mounted a furious fightback in the final 30 minutes.
Gianluca Gaetano and Nikola Krstovic scored to pull Atalanta within one goal, but goalkeeper Mike Maignan made a crucial late save against Davide Zappacosta to preserve the win. The victory was overshadowed by defensive lapses that allowed the visitors back into contention.
